Dar Elrio Bed & Breakfast - Chefchaouen

Dar Elrio was a lovely retreat with beautiful decor, warm and cute staff, and a fine rooftop terrace for breakfast with amazing mountain views. The attention to detail and personalized service.

Nothing too much trouble, it was dope! The hotel was what we thoroughly enjoyed during trip. This venue had a central position in walking distance from everything.

it was close enough to the main attractions, and the center of town, particularly good and excellent location overall. the atmosphere created was quiet.

The rooftop terrace provided fine views, but the shower pressure was occasionally weak. Still, I loved the hiking theme nights!

Absolutely amazing overall experience. Relaxing hotel, location favourable to the spanish mosque, pleasantly surprised by outstandingly accommodating staff and quiet atmosphere. Elegant rooms with a perfect decor, exceptionally comfortable beds with hypo-allergenic pillows. Pleasant view to mountain. Location really close to the main areas of Chefchaouen as well as kasbah and townhall. Great food in the restaurants such as Restaurant Snack Shokri, located 10 min away👌❤

Overall had unforgettable stay with all the staffs and service there. The hotel's location was easy, very close to the mountain and the Medina, river nearby and Medina. Besides, Ras Elma Water Source was nearby.

The terrace view was the highlight 🌄 The staff were super caring, and our room was cozy, clean, and had a gorgeous mountain view. Parking was tricky, though. An amazing stay!

A cozy retreat in the mountains

Staying at Dar Elrio was a highlight of our Moroccan adventure. Always offering mint tea and ensuring our comfort. The views from the terrace during breakfast were nice, and our beautiful suite was the perfect blend of space and comfort.

While the shower pressure was occasionally weak, it hardly detracted from our experience. The walk uphill from the bus station can be a bit challenging with luggage, so consider a taxi instead.

A Perfect Oasis After a Chaotic Week

After a hectic week, we found this retreat to be a good surprise. The cozy Beautiful Double Room provided fine views of the mountains, while the staff's warm hospitality was good. Tip, Enjoy breakfast on the rooftop for amazing scenery!

Rooms were disappointingly cramped for families!!! Bright football arena lights shining into the rooms until 11pm felt intrusive. Consider improving room size and blackout options for a better atmosphere!!!

The wooden cabin provided an very nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruits on the beautiful rooftop terrace. The shower pressure was inconsistent, and the walk uphill to the hotel could be a challenge, especially with luggage. Limited parking options may also require some planning for those traveling by car.

This was my first time in chefchaouen, and it totally exceeded my expectations for a family holiday! The breakfast on the rooftop with fine mountain views and the super accommodating staff made it special. Dar elrio bed & breakfast is a gem in the blue city!

wifi in the room wasn't reliable.

The room is beautifully decorated with great views of the mountains. the hotel offers a good choice of food that was fab! - Convenient location as it's just off the town center, the bus station, and the waterfall.

The room was large and elegant, with an extremely comfy bed. Wake-up service was available, and nice views were a plus. It had an excellent location just next door to the Grand Mosque.
